Lynnderella: Connect the Dots

I ended up repainting my nails today.  Yes, I know, I will never prove that I can wear the same nail polish for more than two days at this rate, but I ruined my manicure pretty fast.  I managed to scrape it across the top.  The damage wasn't terrible, but I couldn't stand it all the same.  In any case, as I stared at my mangled polish, I decided it was time to actually use Connect the Dots!

This is the first and only Lynnderella polish that I have in my collection.  I picked this up when her stuff was in stock at Llarowe.

I decided to layer it over a drugstore polish that I kind of fell in love with when I bought it at Fred Meyer the other day.  It was in a new display and I regret only buying one.  This is a new shade, On A Trip by Wet n Wild from their Megalast line.  It's a bright and bold purple without being neon.  These pictures show three coats, no top coat.  The formula was smooth and creamy, but I had a couple patchy spots after two coats and did have to add the third to get completely even coverage.

I went a little heavy on Connect the Dots for this manicure.  I'd say it's close to two coats, but I painted one light coat first, then went back and dabbed on some of the larger glitter.

This glitter is just so fun and unique.  My friends and I have been jonesing for it for a few months.  I bought them each a bottle.  I've been afraid to use it though!  I don't want to waste it, but having it and not using it is wasteful too!

Connect the Dots is definitely one of the gems in my collection.  I don't know if I'll go out of my way for another Lynnderella polish any time soon, though I love what she does.  The hype scares me, but Llarowe's shop definitely made it a lot easier!

Thanks for tuning in!
