Happy Chinese New Year!

Hello everyone!  After a week of mostly swatches, I figured it was a perfect time to break out the big guns and the itty bitty nail art brushes and do something fun!  Chinese New Year seemed like a good theme and to celebrate the new year of the Dragon, I thought I'd bring you this mani.

Last night, I was trying to remember what I wanted to paint my nails, as I gazed at my stash and test my BFF.  She suggested something that I am going to try soon, and something I did and will show you later.  After I painted, however, I remembered that I was going to do this!  It was pretty late at that point, so I decided it was smarter to wait until morning.  Here's the finished product!

It was really fun to do.  I started with a base of OPI's Pepe's Purple Passion.  The other three colors on the dragon itself are OPI On Collin's Ave, Essence's Wake Up! and Ulta's Sun-Sational.  I outlined with a tiny brush and Finger Paints Black Expressionism, my go-to black.

I let him sit for a couple minutes and then put a generous bead of top coat on each nail to keep from smearing him!

And voila!  I hope you like it!
