Valentine's Day Mani: Hearts

So I hope that this is still amusing to everyone, after my adorably sweet last post.  You see, when I said that I was going to be doing Valentine's Day manicures, I didn't mean that they would all be the fluffy and cute type.  Today's mani is more of an ironic Valentine's Day thing...

That is intended to be a heart [organ] on my ring finger...my hubby said it looks a little weird, but I tried my best!

I'm not really anti-Valentine's, I mean, any holiday that lets me go to the store and clean out the candy the day after can't be all bad!  My husband and I are silly kids and celebrate it and White Day because we spent a few winters/springs in Japan.  Valentine's Day to us means that I make us a three course fondue dinner and we watch movies.  Sometimes we play romantic video games, like WoW!

In any case, I decided to heck with the cutesy hearts for a day, I'm going to get morbid!

I used OPI's Stranger Tides as the base with China Glaze's Concrete Catwalk on my accent nail.  Then I layered one coat of Finger Paints Twisted over them all for a little bit of sparkle.  The hearts, all three of them, and the veins are OPI On Collins Ave, mixed with black and white for various shading and highlights.

So what do you think?  I'll be back with more Valentine's fun next time!  Thanks for reading!
