She really fulfilled a big polish dream for me with this polish. When my complete polish obsession started last fall, MAAH was already a hard to find polish. My friend, who I blame completely for getting me started in this polish adventure (Hi Erin!), is lucky enough to have a bottle that she covets. Now I do too, all thanks to Debbie!
I decided to do a simple glitter gradient with an accent nail with this polish. I didn't get any pictures of the base, because it was late when I did this and wasn't really thinking about it unfortunately. It's one of my latest acquisitions, Zeus by Sinful Colors. I just want to take a second to recommend it because it's seriously gorgeous and only $1.99. Zeus doesn't seem like a $2 polish though. Sinful has stepped up their game. The pink shimmer is super pretty and the formula isn't bad! I did add a few drops of thinner to help it with the slight leveling problem I was having, but it was a very minor inconvenience!
So back to marveling at MAAH! I wanted this polish pretty badly, but I don't think my hubby would have been happy if I paid a lot for it! What was a girl to do?
Well, me being me, I tried to franken it. This picture shows franken #1, MAAH, and franken #2, two coats of each. I think I got pretty close with franken #2. It looks like if I turned up the opacity and the purple : silver, I would have had it! But now I don't have to. I'll probably franken these into something else =)
I normally do gradients from the tip, but I am really glad I tried it in reverse this time. I love this look with glitter, it's so fun!
Thanks for reading!
